The heart of the I Have a Light ministry is evangelism and the goal is to reach people with the love of our Lord Jesus through the many different ways the Holy Spirit has shown us. That they would come to know Him as a friend, Savior, and Lord.
Let me share a little back ground on the I Have a Light Ministry. It was birthed by the Holy Spirit thru a song that was played at a wedding. For as many times the conversation of having a “Light” was talked about this time was different. God was giving me the opportunity to be used by Him to start a ministry that would glorify Him. It was at this point I knew I was being asked by the Holy Spirit to step over the line and let Him have total control of the gifts He brought into my life. I said “Yes, Lord” and stepped over the line and never looked back. Matthew 5:16 “Let your Light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” This is the word He gave me. Since then the Holy Spirit has shown us many ways to release His Light into a lost world.
Everyone who has been born again has been given a gift or gifts by the Lord. We have the choice of letting the Holy Spirit have control of these gifts or letting fear hold you back. When you cross that line the power of the Holy Spirit spoken of in Ephesians 3:20 is activated. Then you will experience the joy and excitement of being led by the Holy Spirit and you will not go back.
If you are ready to take another step of faith come and join us to see if this is where God would want you to serve Him. Every light that comes into this ministry causes the light to become brighter and the darkness of Satan’s strongholds to be pushed back and overcome.
